Sublease

Sublease tracks a couple before and during the pandemic. Frankie is a middle school teacher, teaching online, Arlo is a frustrated revolutionary stuck editing a mental health podcast. Arlo has a vague Manhattan sublease from a guy named Jupiter. Frankie moves in with Arlo on the eve of 2020 at the precipice of the pandemic. We see a time lapse of their romance, radicalizations and paranoia, all in the contained space of a single apartment that holds a dark secret.

Sublease made its debut in the round at Von on Bleecker Street, offering a unique and immersive experience for the audience.
